Animal shelters and humane societies throughout the U.S. are equipped to scan for InfoPET microchips. When a microchip is found, the staff calls InfoPET's National Recovery Hotline with the microchip's unique identification number. Day and night - 365 days a year, InfoPET provides shelters and humane societies with the information needed to quickly return the pet to its owner, as well as vital medical information, thus decreasing the amount of time the pet is held and the costs incurred.
