In Alabama, the APR Partners program is made up of veterinarians, animal shelters, animal control personnel and individuals who refer persons to and/or exchange lost and found pet information with APR. Cooperation with private pet rescue and adoption organizations, and help from print, radio and television media provide additional support and referrals.

This network allows APR to be effective as a central lost and found pet clearinghouse in Alabama. APR will provide assistance to any persons interested in establishing a similar organization in their area.
